It turn out that I should have read more about the pan/tilt from Sparkfun before I ordered it. Cause even if it was a photo of the pan/tilt assembled with servos, the servos didn’t follow. It was just the bracket.
So I took a chance and ordered some cheap servos from DealExtreme. And it turn out that they fitted the bracket. With some tweaks.
Now I’m working on a program that does the following:
- Pan 170 degree with 10 degree steps
- Turn on a LED between each step
- Tilt 10 degree between each panning cycle. Starts at 45 degree
The LED indicates trigger for a camera. There are many things to adjust. But it’s a start.
